In Loving Memory of Patricia "Pat" S. Nolan Trapasso
September 3, 1942 – June 15, 2025
Patricia "Pat" S. Nolan Trapasso, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 3, 1942, in Middletown, Connecticut, Pat lived a vibrant and compassionate life defined by strength, love, and service to others.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Trapasso; her sons, Mark and Lee; and her beloved grandchildren, Evan, Madison, Vianna, and Emily. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave them a lifetime of unwavering love and support.
Pat had a fierce passion for animals, dedicating countless hours to rescue work for dogs and cats. She had a special love for Great Danes and opened her heart and home to animals in need throughout her life.
An avid athlete and lover of movement, Pat was a proud marathon runner and embraced fitness and karate with remarkable discipline and energy well into her later years. She inspired many with her commitment to staying active and strong.
She was also a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, cheering on her team with enthusiasm and pride through every season.
Pat's warmth, resilience, and generous spirit touched everyone who had the honor of knowing her. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and the comforting presence of both family and furry companions.
A private service will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pat's memory to a local animal rescue or simply take a moment to help someone-or some animal-in need, in the way she always did.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will never be forgotten.
