Patricia Ann Banks, affectionately known as Tricia, passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on July 1, 1952, in Middletown, Ohio. She graduated from Preble Shawnee High School, Class of 1970, marking the beginning of a life filled with love, kindness, and a wonderful sense of humor.

Tricia was described as a good-natured and generous individual, always willing to extend her kindness to others. Her loving spirit radiated through her commitment to family and friends alike, making her a source of comfort and joy to many.

In her personal life, Tricia enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her happiness. She found great pleasure in the thrill of going to the casino and playing poker with family, engaging in lively conversations that reflected her engaging personality. Crossword puzzles provided her with both challenge and enjoyment, and she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, who were a central focus of her life. Her beloved dog, Maggie, was also a cherished companion, adding joy and warmth to her days.

Tricia’s proudest accomplishments were rooted in her family. She celebrated 54 years of marriage with her loving husband, John, a bond that served as a testament to their deep commitment to one another. She took immense pride in her children, Deana (Dwayne) Taylor and Jake (Sherrie) Banks, and delighted in the joy brought to her by her grandchildren: Tiffany, Stephanie, Dustin, Brittany, Jessy, Jacob, Shaelyn, Roma, Savanna, Anna, Marquaes, Kaleb, Lele, Aven, and Aloure. Additionally, Tricia was a devoted great-grandmother, embracing the delight of her great-grandchildren: Ethan, Kenzie, Trevor, Ollie, Owen, Judah, Aaron, Eden, Hayden, Carter, Paisley, Josie, Gabriel, Theo, and Millie, as well as Ella, with another great-granddaughter on the way.

Tricia was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Neal, whose legacy of love and nurturing continued through Tricia’s own life and values.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John; her father, Fred Neal; her children, Deana (Dwayne) Taylor and Jake (Sherrie) Banks; her siblings, Sherry (Jerry) Campbell, Jim Neal, Connie Reed, Bill "Punk" Neal, and Diana Neal; along with numerous extended family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

Tricia will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and laughter will endure in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton. Pastor Greg Banks to officiate.
