Patricia Lee Veith, age 88, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 12:12 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. She was born March 24, 1937, in Lutie, Missouri, the daughter of Henry Levi and Clara Ona (Baker) Friend.

Patricia attended Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Missouri and was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

In 1952, she married Harold Woodson Daniel, in Gainesville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2019.

Patricia is survived by her four daughters, Kathy Goodman of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Anita Beaver of Brookline, Missouri, Denise Glover and her husband, Mike, of Monett, Missouri and Tammy Moenkhoff and her husband, Gary, of Stotts City, Missouri; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Henry, and Clara; her husband, Harold; an infant son; one brother, Bernon Friend and two sons-in-law, Jerry Goodman and Louis Beaver.

A private family burial will be held at the Eastview Cemetery west of Stotts City, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
