Patricia L. Vercammen

Patricia Louise Vercammen of Rennerdale, PA, passed away peacefully on 10/15/2025 surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 17, 1940 in Carnegie, PA to the late Mary and Charles Colkitt. Sister to the late Shirley Chiesa and Ronald Colkitt. Survived by her sister Joan Colkitt.
Patricia graduated from St. Luke's Catholic School and had many lifetime friends from there.
She met the love of her life, Gene Vercammen, in 1954. She had always said that was the luckiest day of her life and they created a beautiful family.
Survived by her children Debra [ David ] Brennan, Ronald [ Terry ] Vercammen, Timothy Vercammen [ Deceased ], and Annette [ Michael ] Magdich.
Though she loved being a wife and mother, her favorite role was that as a grandma to her seven grandchildren; April Vercammen, Rachael [ Terry ] Tackett, Gene Paul [ Caitlin ] Vercammen, Alexa Vercammen, Patrick Magdich, Nicole Brennan [ Jesse Boehm ], and Ryan Vercammen. She was even blessed with being a great grandma [ GiGi ] to Kasandra.
Everyone who knew Patricia knew how much she loved a good prank, playing cards, a lucky bingo or casino night, trips to the beach, her oldies music, and having family gatherings in her home. Her greatest love though was for her husband. Her last note to her children she wrote, "I will be with him again, this time forever".
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's name to Gallagher Hospice. The nurses took wonderful care of her and our family. A special thanks to her nurse, Jenna, for her time, compassion, and friendship during this di cult time. 1370 Washington Pike, Suit 401B Bridgeville, PA 15017
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11 am at Robinson Run Cemetery, 504 Sunset Lane, McDonald. All are asked to meet at the chapel. All arrangements are entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale (724-693-2800).
