Patricia Ann Waitley, 77, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on May 4, 1947, to Paul Chester and Helen (Chapman) Hoyt in Hartford, Connecticut. Patricia grew up and attended school in Hartford, graduating from high school in 1965. She enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served honorably. This is where she met the love of her life Loyal Waitley and they were united in marriage on August 11, 1977, to this union was born one child: Carolyn. They moved back to Caddo County in 1972, first living in Oney, then Fort Cobb for 35 years, and finally to Anadarko in 2010. Patricia earned her LPN license from Caddo Kiowa Vo-Tech in Fort Cobb in 1976. Later she attended USAO earning a Bachelor's degree. She worked as an LPN in Caddo County for numerous years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, singing in the church choir, and needlepoint. She was a member of the Anadarko VFW for many years, participating in Honor Guard ceremonies. She was also a member of the Fort Cobb United Methodist Church and later the First United Methodist Church of Anadarko. Patricia loved her fur babies. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Grandchildren: Lane Lumpkin, OKC, OK, Logan Lumpkin of Anadarko, OK.
