In Loving Memory of Patricia P. Warrick

Patricia Pierce Warrick, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 with her family by her side, in Powell, Ohio. Born in 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee, Patricia was the daughter of Eugene and Aurelia (Brown) Pierce of Sheridan, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Michael Warrick; her sisters, Betty Lancaster (Lee) and Sue Goza (Jeff); and her parents.

Patricia is survived by her son Marc (Joan) of Franklin, TN and grandchildren Matthew, Jackson & Christine, as well as her son Jon (Julie) of Powell, OH and grandsons Nathan, Caleb & Zachary. She cherished her children and grandchildren, creating many fond memories with them through travels and supporting them in their activities

Patricia lived a life full of adventure, creativity, and dedication. She and Mike shared a deep love for travel, visiting six continents together, including ocean and river cruises, SCUBA diving excursions, and exploring exotic destinations. Patricia treasured her extended family and stayed connected over the years. She was active with several friend groups in the Indianapolis community and thrived with the relationships she created.

She found great joy in creating stained glass pieces alongside her husband, blending their artistry into lasting works of beauty that were often shared with friends and family.

Professionally, Patricia built a distinguished 33-year career with Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, Indiana. She held leadership roles in New Product Development at Elizabeth Arden Cosmetics (owned by Lilly at the time) and Toxicology until her retirement in December 2000.

She developed a passion for encouraging African women during a visit to Uganda and supported trade school graduates by buying hundreds of sewing machines over the years to help them start their own business and support their families.

Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, intelligence, generosity, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she helped create.
