Patricia Ann Miller Widdoes,96, of New Albany, Ohio, formerly Sandusky, Ohio, died
peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025.
Pat was born May 2, 1929, in Roseville, Ohio to Marguerite E. Miller and Norford V.
Miller. Pat was a graduate of Dover High School and Grant Hospital School of Nursing.
In 1952 she married Richard "Dick" Widdoes. Pat and Dick lived in San Antonio, Texas,
and Colorado Springs, Colorado, while Dick served in the Army. They moved to
Sandusky, Ohio in 1956 to establish his Dental practice. Pat stayed at home with their
four children prior to resuming her nursing career at NASA, Good Samaritan Hospital,
and Stein Hospice. She found her true calling as a Hospice Nurse and Volunteer. Pat's
caring nature showed in her service to others through various volunteer groups in the
community and Church.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Jay) Anderson of New Albany, Ohio, and Lori
(John) Schlessman of Sandusky, Ohio; son, Bill (Beth) Widdoes of Reynoldsburg, Ohio;
7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Dick; brother, Craig; son and
daughter-in-law, Bob and Louann Widdoes; and grandson, Alan Schlessman.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 24th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 214 E.
Jefferson St., Sandusky, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. with service to
follow at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Al's Clinics (www.Alsclinics.org),
Crossroads or UMCOR, c/o Trinity United Methodist Church. Make check payable to
TUMC with Crossroads or UMCOR on the memo line.
Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the
