Patricia Wilkum Obituary
She was born in Milwaukee, WI, on August 8th, 1943. Pat graduated from St. Mary's Springs High School in 1961. She was married to Gregory Wilkum on May 5th, 1973. Pat dedicated her life to creating a loving home and raising her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Greg of Fond du Lac; children Michael (Amy) Gormican of Fond du Lac, Ann (Thao) Hoang of Washington state, Mary (Brendan) Johnson of Virginia, Gregory Jr. (Kristi) Wilkum of Fond du Lac, Joseph (Anna) Wilkum of Fond du Lac, Catherine (Tom) Anders of Minnesota, Christopher (Angela) Wilkum of Oshkosh; one brother: Daniel (Pamela) Vanderboom; 18 grandchildren: Irene (Daniel) Pfister, Colin Gormican, Jonathan and Therese Hoang, Abigail, Clare, and Bridget Johnson, Elizabeth, Madelyn, and Emmeline Anders, Gregory the III, Audrey, Emma, Alex, Charlotte, Everett, and Walter Wilkum; and her great-grandchild, Maeve Pfister.
She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Jim Gormican, her brother, Paul Jr. Vanderboom, her brother, James Vanderboom, and her granddaughter, Grace Anders.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 12 noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI. Visitation will precede the mass on Friday starting at 10:00 AM until the Mass at 12 noon. Entombment will follow the service at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
The family wishes to thank the SSM Cancer Center staff and SSM Hospice staff for their love and care for Pat during her extended illness. Special thank you to family members who helped and supported Mom during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the SSM Cancer Center, SSM Hospice, or to Holy Family Parish.
