Patricia Carol Anderson Woods passed away on Monday, February 9th, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on Sunday, September 10th, 1950, in Savannah, Georgia, Patricia was a cherished member of her community in Brooklet, GA, where she resided with her family.
Patricia devoted 20 years of her professional life as a dedicated cashier at the Stilson Country Corner, where she greeted every customer with a warm smile and a kind word. Her patience and friendly nature left a lasting impression on all who interacted with her.
A woman of varied interests, Patricia found immense joy in shrimping and fishing – hobbies that connected her to the natural beauty of Georgia. She also enjoyed solving puzzles and spending treasured moments with her great-grandchildren, nurturing their young hearts with love and wisdom. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every opportunity to gather with them.
Patricia will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering devotion to her family: her beloved husband of 55 years, Jack C. Woods; her two sons, Clarence Woods (Tori) of Brooklet, and James White (Cynthia) of Portal; her daughter, Rebecca Conner of Brooklet; her brother, Randall Wade Anderson of Midway; and her sister, Cheryl Jeannine Anderson Johnson of Effingham. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Cherokee, Jamie, Emily, Willa, Delina, Leah, Delin, and Megan. Her legacy of love continues through her three cherished great-grandchildren, Carter, Jack, and Ty.
Patricia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edward Cornelius Anderson and Betty Jeannine Milton Anderson, and her brother, Stanley Owen Anderson.
