Patricia Gentry "Pat" Workman

Patricia Gentry Workman ("Pat"), beloved wife of Kenneth Workman, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at age 80.
Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Jethro and Leneva Ballard Gentry.
Pat graduated from Parker High School in 1962, setting the stage for a life filled with hard work and compassion for others. In the 1970s, she worked as a realtor in the Rock Hill and Fort Mill, SC areas, gaining a reputation for her dedication and integrity. In the 1990s, she obtained her C.N.A certification and dedicated her time to volunteering with seniors in nursing homes throughout York County, SC. She also found fulfillment in serving others and giving back to her community through her work with Meals on Wheels.
Pat was a loving wife and mother, always placing her family at the center of her life. She enjoyed hosting holiday and birthday events, creating cherished memories with her loved ones. Her warmth and welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by sons, Kent Workman (Kim) of Charlotte, NC, and Scott Workman (Nona) of Asheville, NC; grand-daughter, Naomi Workman of Asheville, NC; and nieces, Kay Keith, Misty Arnold Bryant and Kathy Arnold Thomas; and nephews, Andy Keith, and Shane Keith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Martha Wright, and brother, Ronnie Gentry.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12:15 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
