Patricia Ann Wurz, born October 3, 1948. Pat Quietly passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Pat grew up in Selby by the Bay, Maryland. She would always tell us “I could walk to the beach”. She loved the water. Her teenage years were in Alexandria, Virginia. I understand she was a good student and Cheerleader at Groveton H.S. She was dragged to Pittsburgh in 1989 by her husband Charlie. After working in Admin for 10 years, she decided she wanted to be a Personal Trainer / Aerobics instructor. Pat taught personal training in Aspinwall and Silver Sneakers all around Pittsburgh. She was great at it. Pat was always smiling and always had a good word for everyone she interacted with. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charlie. Her son Ryan, daughter Kelly, grandchildren Devyn, Jalen, Trey, Kierston, McKayla and Toni. Also 6 great grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4pm - 6pm with a funeral service from 6pm -7pm at WM. SLATER & SONS INC. (412-381-3345) 301 Virginia Ave. Mt. Washington 15211. Pat will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Pat and family would also like to thank Commonwealth Hospice and White Tail Springs Memory Care for the care they provided. They let Pat be Pat and we are forever grateful. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60601 or on the website Alz.org.
