Patricia Yusavage, 83, of Cambridge Springs, PA died Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 23, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Braim.
Patricia attended St. Boniface grade school and graduated from Dobbins Vocational Technical School. She worked in the financial offices of Edgecomb Steel in Philadelphia. She later met the love of her life and moved from the big city to embrace country life and made their home in Cambridge Springs.
She was a talented seamstress and always busy with a project. Many friends and family cherish their handmade items that showcased her gift. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens and was an avid birder. She loved visits with family and was quick to offer a cup of tea. She loved vacations in Cape May, NJ.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro where, over the years, she taught CCD, assisted with the yearly picnic, and offered assistance in any sewing projects, just to name a few of the volunteer works she did.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Yusavage in 2022; an infant son; and sisters, Rosemarie Cappo and Mary McCarthy.
She is survived by her daughter, Bridget (Brian) Young of Cambridge Springs; brothers, Joseph Braim and John Braim (Diane); sister, Joan Smith; four grandchildren, Sarah Adams, Hannah Young, Cody (Chrissi) Young, and Paul Jackson; great-granddaughter, Noelle; sister-in-law Josie Osiecki, cousin Diane Polensky, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 128 Sunset Dr., Edinboro.
Burial will be in Venango Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org. To send condolences please sign the guestbook below.
