Patricio Montoya Obituary
Patricio Montoya (Chato) passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born March 17, 1980 in Denver, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father Gregorio Montoya; sister Irene Montoya; grandparents Patricio Martinez (Chato), Valentin Montoya and Louisa Martinez.
He is survived by his mother Debbie Martinez; children Xzavier, LaDamien, Serenity and Shaya; brother Valentin Montoya; and grandmother Maria Montoya; and niece Mariah (Chata) Ramirez; plus family and friends.
Patricio grew up in Denver, he enjoyed drawing and is remembered by those who knew him as a man with great honor and generosity. In his last years, he had several health issues, and during this time he remained positive, and faced them with courage.
The family would like to thank all of those who help during his time of need. Additionally, a special thank you is extended to his care givers Florence Cortez and Eleanor.
