Patrick Baltazar Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium - Justice on Jan. 30, 2026.
Patrick Todd Baltazar, passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 53.

Born on December 29, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, son to Arthur and Carolyn Baltazar, Patrick dedicated his life to educational psychology and the study of his own health and wellness.

Patrick was extremely focused on research and determined to do things his own way on his own terms.

He was a devoted husband and partner to Flori Perez and a loving father to their daughter, Sara. Patrick was also the younger brother to Arthur, brother-in-law to Rose, and uncle to his nephews, Gordon and David "Sonny," and his niece, Audrey.

His passing was due to complications related to his life-long battle with diabetes.

Patrick's intellectual journey began on the campus of Loyola University Chicago. His academic pursuits led him to Sofia University USA, where he earned a Ph.D. in Psychology.

His work studies drew him to Guatemala and Chiapas Mexico where he led therapy sessions for victims of abuse and made a difference in the lives of the individuals trying to return to their citizenships.

His research for the truth continued until the day his story ended. Patrick had his family's support. He did his best and we believed in him.

Rest in peace, brother. Your pain is over.

As we mourn the loss of Patrick, we also celebrate the the memories he gave us. The happiness of our childhood, and the smiles as we recall his funny quotes and one-liners.

In the hearts of his family, Patrick will be remembered for his determination of bravery and his passion for knowledge. His partner, Flori, will cherish the memories and partnership they shared, and his daughter, Sara. May she carry forward the lessons and love her father bestowed upon her.
