Patrick Andrew Bisceglia, 91, passed away peacefully in the home of his daughter on December 23, 2025, surrounded by the family he so dearly loved.
Patrick was born in Worcester, MA to the late Dominick and Nellie (Kapusta) Bisceglia. He attended schools in Worcester and proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked at Henry L. Hanson, and United Parcel Service for over 30 years.
He met the love of his life, Dorothy (Cursi) on a blind date, and enjoyed 61 years of marriage until her passing in November of 2024. They enjoyed wonderful vacations in Las Vegas,
Italy, Nova Scotia and California and many summers at Nantasket Beach, as well as frequent day trips to the Casinos.
Patrick’s happiest times were spent cultivating his beautiful yard where he could always be found sculpting his unique trees and planting flowers and vegetables.
But most of all, he lived for his family, providing tender loving care for his wife in her later years, and doting on his daughter and beloved grandchildren. Anyone who knew Pat knew he wanted to take care of everyone and make sure all our needs were met.
Patrick is survived by his loving daughter Dori and her husband John Walsh; his adored grandchildren, Patrick, his namesake and pal, and his fiancé Courtney; Maria, his little sweetheart, and her fiancé Andrew “Luigi!”, and his dear great granddaughter Isabella, and his cherished nieces Cindy Cunnane and Cathy DiPilato.
Sadly, in addition to his parents, Patrick was pre-deceased by his sweetheart Dorothy; and all of his brothers, Vincent, Matthew, John and Francis Bisceglia.
We would like to thank Worcester VNA Hospice for their care during this difficult time, especially Jennifer, whom he adored.
A Memorial Mass for Patrick will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at St. Mary’s Parish, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury at 11:00 am.
Immediately following the Mass, the family would like to invite all who wish to join at the Italian American Victory Club, 26 Dewey Road Shrewsbury for a luncheon to honor Patrick.
We Love you Poppy!
