Patrick Broomes Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Patrick Anthony Broomes, a vibrant soul who left us too soon, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at his home in Methuen. Pat, aged 33, brought joy and warmth to the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born in Dorchester, MA, on April 8, 1990, Pat was the beloved son of Maurice Broomes of Dorchester and Jennifer (Sealey) Broomes of Methuen. He dedicated his time as a clerk at Boyd in Woburn.
In the moments of leisure that brought him happiness, Pat immersed himself in the world of gaming, found solace in the beauty of music, and cheered passionately for his favorite football teams.
Pat leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by his mother, Jennifer Broomes; father, Maurice Broomes; 2 sisters, Andrea and Michelle Broomes; adored nephews, Andre and Brandon Laurent; and many cousins, including Rose, Crystal, Quintyn, Latoya, Alistair, and Jamaal. His circle of friends, including Alex, Flavio, and Brian, will forever hold dear the memories of their shared laughter and camaraderie.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Pat's life during the calling hours on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 10 – 11 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
