Patrick Chishimba Obituary Today, we gather in love, sorrow, and deep respect to celebrate the life of Patrick Chishimba a proud Zambian whose presence in our lives was both a gift and a guiding light. Patrick was born in Bancroft, Copperbelt, Zambia and showed signs of great ambitions early on. Patrick received his undergraduate education from the University of Zambia before moving on to Duke University for his masters degree in North Carolina, and the Wharton school of finance for his doctorate at the university of Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania. He was many things an avid lawn tennis player growing up, a brilliant accountant & businessman, a trusted advisor, a calm and steady hand in even the most turbulent moments. He served the Philadelphia region for decades with sharp insight, unwavering integrity, and an incredible generosity of spirit. Whether you were a client, a colleague, or simply someone in need of advice, Patrick gave you his time, his knowledge, and his full attention. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and supported. What truly set Patrick apart was his ability to remain cool under pressure. No matter the challenge financial, personal, or otherwise he approached it with clarity, composure, and quiet strength. He didnt just solve problems; he lifted burdens. He brought peace where there was anxiety, and hope where there was doubt. Furthermore Patrick was a family man. His love for his family was deep, unwavering, and evident in everything he did. He was a thoughtful partner, a proud father, devoted brother and a steady, loving presence for everyone, lucky enough to call him family. His roots were strong, and his heart was always with his loved ones in Zambia, in Philadelphia, and everywhere in between. Patrick also believed in community in being there for one another, in lifting others up, and in sharing what he had. He mentored, he taught, and he gave freely of his time, never asking for anything in return. He believed that knowledge should be shared, not hoarded, and that success was more meaningful when it helped others rise as well. Today, we mourn him, but we also celebrate his life a life marked by kindness, brilliance, strength, and humility. His legacy is one that will continue in our hearts, in our communities, and in the lives of all those he touched. Patrick is survived by his children Mubanga and Kasonde, partner Thalia, sister Faith and brother Wilfred, daughter-in-law Corrinn, granddaughter Savannah and his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Egan, Aubrey, Hope, Kaluba, Mubanga, Chibuye, Mutale, Mubanga. As we remember Patrick Chishimba, let us carry forward his example. Let us be generous with our time. Calm in the face of challenges. And proud of who we are and where we come from. Patricks intellect and dedication will be remembered always. But more than that, his spirit so steady, so loving, so full of grace -will live on in us.
Thank You
