Robert Volio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Logan Funeral Home, Inc. - Philadelphia on Jan. 22, 2026.
Robert Volio, passed away December 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Born on August 28, 1949, Robert spent most of his life in Philadelphia, primarily in the Grays Ferry area. There he opened a shop dedicated to his first love – cars. Located right off 61st Street over the Passyunk Avenue bridge, B&B Auto Parts began in 1990 and is still open today as "Nice Guys Auto Parts".
In his later years, Robert would reinvent himself and open a computer store in the heart of South Philly, on the 1200 block of Durfor Street. No matter where he was, you couldn't miss him, as he would always be perched right outside on one of his patented chairs. Robert loved his daily conversations with neighbors and customers alike, a testament to his loving nature.
Outside of the car and computer shops, Robert had an affinity of giving back to the neighborhood. Like an Italian Santa Claus, he would regularly bestow gifts upon the children around his home of McKean Street, especially during the holiday season.
Robert was, and still is, incredibly loved, and will be sorely missed by his first wife, Margaret Volio, whom he spent many of his early years with, as well as his long-time partner later in life, Marianne McBride.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert "Carmen" (Nicole) Volio and Robert "John" Volio; siblings; Carmen (Phyllis) Volio and Rochelle Pascale; his grandchildren, Zachary (Amber) Volio and Robert "Carmen" Volio, Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Robert is predeceased in death by his daughter, Sharon Volio; and siblings, Mary Smack, Michael Volio, Theresa Sciortino, Josephine Raimondo, and Joseph Volio.
Robert's memory will live on, as will his legacy of love, selflessness and generosity.
To honor Robert's wishes, there will be no funeral service. I invite you to please privately celebrate Robert's memory in your own ways. I know he is with us all in spirit.
