Patrick Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnson's Funeral Home - Georgetown on Dec. 26, 2025.
Patrick Arthur Clark, 60, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky, following a short illness. He was surrounded by loved ones, including his wife of 22 years, Deborah Ann "Debbie" Piggott Clark. He was born on February 6, 1965 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, to Harrison Gale and Cora Jane Lorren Clark.

Patrick had a rare gift for connection. Not only was he a loving father to his three children and their partners, he was always stepping in as a surrogate father to others. He recently volunteered for the AMEN House which gave him much joy. He was well-versed in scripture, and loved to share his faith with those around him. He lived his faith with humility and strength. Above all, he was a devoted family man who treasured time with his loved ones, especially his grand girls, whom he adored deeply.

By day, Patrick was an engineering technician with the Kentucky Department of Transportation. Outside of work, he was a joyful child at heart, relishing the simple things in life like comic books, movies, and spending time with family and friends. A talented artist, he designed and created his own "man cave," which contained a variety of treasured items from his many interests. It looked as if it came straight from a steampunk movie set. The man cave was his Legacy.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Logan Taylor (Taylor) Clark, Brenna Alise Clark and Katelyn Leigh (Junior Roque-Carrera) Gillispie; sister, Melonie Weiss; brothers, Michael (Janet) Clark and Christopher (Krystal) Clark; grandchildren, Timber Lily, Santana Rose and Carmella Azalea; as well as many friends.

If Patrick could leave those he loved, and who loved him with words of comfort, surely it would be words spoken by Star Trek's Dr. Spock; "I have been, and always shall be, your friend."

A celebration of life will be 4-7 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Johnson's Funeral Home with comments from friends and family beginning at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Amen House in Georgetown, KY.
