I worked with "Mr. D" for three years. He was so calm, patient, and understanding to all his students. And SO funny. Truly an incredible person, he will be so missed.
Rest in Peace Pat, donated to the St. Louis center in your name

Mr. D, I can't believe you are not among us any more. You were a caring and kind person. Always with a smile on your face making sure the kids were well. Thank you for always being kind to me when I had the honor to work alongside you. Rest in peace.

Mr.D worked with my son a few years ago. My son absolutely adored him. He was so kind, so gentle and such a special person. He made a loving impact on our lives and we will never forget him. Sending love and support to his friends and family. We love you, Mr. D!

Pat was Probably the most selfless, caring Special Ed guy most have ever known. Just retired too! Pat really should get a posthumous award of some type for his decades of selfless giving of himself, to his physical detriment but he continued serving the severe SE/Needs groups he worked with over the years. Most who knew him watched him work in gym classes, music classes and others where he was never frazzled, just carried on as he knew how each individual kid should be handled. Nobody else could really do it as successfully as Pat did on an everyday basis.
