A proud and dedicated Five- Percenter, Shawn, lived a life guided by the principles of the Nation of Gods and Earths. Patrick Shawn leaves behind his mother (Jeanette Stevens), father (Phillip Dystant), Wife (Syilla Smith-Dystant), three siblings (Saski, Ricardo, PJ), four children (Teyonna, Syasia, Daeshaun, Kasia) and 10 grandchildren. He was a family man who instilled in his children they must stick together and the importance of knowledge and wisdom.His legacy of strength, integrity, and love lives on through his four children. We appreciate the great amount of support and love everyone has been showing the family during this difficult time. We will be providing information through this website for our funeral Celebration of Life. Please post and share your pictures, stories and any flower donations through the link on this website. Again, all is greatly appreciated and we are all so grateful to have been able to share our father with you all.

I will always remember his huge smile that would lift you up immediately and make your day such a better one after seeing him.
