Patrick Ervin

Patrick Riley Ervin, 53, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, Maryland passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025 at Gilchrist Center in Towson. Born on June 20, 1972 in Washington, DC , Patrick earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland before establishing a 24-year career in orthopedic medical device sales. He was trusted and loved by doctors, nurses, and staff in operating rooms throughout the region. He was an active parishioner at St. Mary's Parish in Annapolis. A humble and hard-working man, Patrick was a lacrosse standout in the 90s at both St. Mary's High School and Loyola University Maryland. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, coaching, and watching his children excel in sports. What was work for others was a labor of love for Patrick – some of his favorite hobbies included washing his car, doing yardwork, and keeping up his boat. Most of all, Patrick loved spending time with his wife and kids, large extended family, and many friends who were drawn in by his playful spirit, easy going demeanor, big dimples, and hearty laugh. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Jennifer Ervin; his children, Patrick "Riley", Anna, and Taylor Ervin, all of Annapolis; his brothers, Frank, Tom, and Edward Ervin, all of Annapolis; and his mother, Margaret Ervin of Annapolis. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Patrick's life on Thursday, December 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Friday, December 19 at 9 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD.
