Pat was a member of the Twin Cities Bicycling Club (TCBC) since 2003. He became a leader in 2006 and in recent years, he led a very popular ride named "Yacht Rock". During his briefings and on the ride, he would always test the riders on their knowledge of Yacht Rock songs and other local history. Pat was very knowledgeable, many of us .... not so, but that didn't stop the fun. On Sunday, September 1, several TCBC leaders led his "Yacht Rock" ride. It was attended by 50 TCBC members (maybe the largest single club ride of the year). Memories and songs were shared during the ride briefing in honor of Pat, a friend to many and beloved TCBC member! It was a very special ride!

I remember boating with Pat on the St. Croix, and attending various concerts with Pat and Peg. I went on the MN Ironman yearly bike ride 62 mile run with Pat one year. He was the perfect person to ride with. Pat was a very sweet guy, very thoughtful and easy going, and also fun. I am so very sorry to hear he is gone. I will always remember him with much fondness. Rest in Peace Pat. Lisa Gerard
