Patrick C. Ford

On Monday, November 17th, 2025, Patrick closed his eyes and held his son Ryan for eternity.

Son of the late William Ford and Edith Deveny Ford.

Born in New Haven, Patrick grew up in The Cove in East Haven and lived in North Branford with his loving family. For decades he owned his own business, Patrick's Equipment Repair Service, and he worked for Tweed New Haven Airport for even longer while maintaining his business right up until his passing. Patrick was an avid New York Giants fan (as hard as that was to be), a New York Yankees fan, and a NASCAR enthusiast. The house was always loud. Patrick was known to always be a helping hand. Never hesitated to assist or give his help to family, friends & neighbors. Everyone loved

"Big" Patrick. He was a kind soul, a gentle giant who was known for his ever-present dark sunglasses.

He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Karen Ford, his son, Patrick Ryan Ford, and his daughter, Bridgit Parrilla.

He is predeceased by his son, Ryan Ford.

He leaves his sister Shannon Laccone (Joe), and brother Brendan Ford (Dawn) and is predeceased by his siblings, Colleen, Brian, and Billy. He leaves two grandchildren, as well as many family members, extended family, nieces and nephews, and an enormous crew of friends and co-workers, all of which he adored. His German Shepherd's, Ruckus & Mayhem, will miss him dearly.

Services will be Monday, November 24, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd., North Branford. Burial will be private and held at a later date.
