Patrick L Frain

Patrick Frain, 65, of Shark River Hills, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born in Newark, NJ, grew up in Wayne and has lived in Shark River Hills for the past 35 years. Patrick graduated from Wayne Valley High School and attended the University of Miami. For many years he worked alongside his father in the family manufacturers rep business – Thomas Frain Associates, eventually succeeding him as head of the business. Patrick loved riding his bike and paddle boarding on Shark River. Above all, he loved cooking and he loved his mother Mary. He was known for sharing everything he made with his friends and family. His clams oreganato and sesame tuna were legendary and his soups were equally beloved. He brought cranberry, apple, and key lime pies to Thanksgiving every year and always carved the turkey. Living next door to his mother, he was devoted to her care. With him there she was safe, always had food in the refrigerator and a nightly companion to watch Jeopardy. His giving spirit will be deeply missed.

He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Frain and he is survived by his mother, brothers, Thomas and wife Meryl; David and wife Zana; and Jeffrey and wife Susan; and his two nephews Andrew and Brendan, and niece Molly.
