Patrick Charles Gilliland

Patrick Gilliland, age 84, departed to heaven on January 19, 2026

Patrick Gilliland was born on March 31, 1941, in Colorado Springs,

Colorado, to Merle and Dorthy Gilliland. He was the third of four children,

growing up alongside his siblings Robert, Carol, and Mike on the Sinton

farm. Patrick's early years were filled with time outdoors and a deep love

for animals-simple joys that stayed with him throughout his life.

Patrick graduated from Harrison High School in 1959. After college, he

began a career in quality assurance at Hewlett-Packard, where he was

known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail.

On a blind date that would change his life forever, Patrick met Artyce Ann.

The two fell in love and were married on November 15, 1975. Together

they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family. Patrick was blessed with four children: Scott, Todd, Andrew, and Sarah.

In 1994, Patrick was able to pursue a lifelong dream when he opened Pat's Country Bakery. While

he took great pride in his baked goods, what he cherished most were the people. Patrick loved

listening to customers' stories, sharing laughs, and connecting heart-to-heart with everyone who

walked through the door.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Artyce; his children Todd (Tamy), Andy (Kristy), and Sarah

(Jason); and his cherished grandchildren Cody Peterson, Ryan Gilliland, Ashley Peterson, Gavin

Boatright, Colin Boatright, Nolan Boatright, and Audry Boatright. He is also survived by his great-

grandchild, Callum Peterson. Patrick is further survived by his siblings Carol Milliken (Mike) and Mike

Gilliland (Barb).

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Scott Gilliland, and his brother, Bob Gilliland.

A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at Cragmor Christian Church on January 31, 2026, at

10:30 a.m.

Patrick will be remembered for his kind heart, welcoming smile, love of family, and the many lives he

touched through simple acts of generosity and connection.
