Patrick J. Halpin November 22, 1939 – July 6, 2025

With both sorrow and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Patrick Joseph Halpin of Duluth, GA, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 85. A beloved father, devoted husband, and friend to all, Patrick's life was a testament to grit, wit, and generosity.

Born in Dublin, Ireland as the eldest son of a large family, Patrick immigrated to America in 1962. Despite a limited formal education, he established a 4-decade career at National Cash Register (NCR) and provided for his cherished wife Patricia and their three sons through a combination of a tireless work ethic and a devotion to doing everything the right way, every time.

Throughout his life, Patrick embraced simple pleasures. He loved long road trips, old cars, and an occasional sing-along to Irish songs over a cold pint of Guinness. Through good times and lean, he always ensured that his family was well cared for and placed others' needs before his own. He taught his boys how to work hard, live honestly, fix anything, and not be "eejits".

Patrick was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann. He is survived by his three sons: Ken of Quakertown, PA; John of Windham, ME; and Brian of John's Creek, GA; as well as 7 grandchildren and a growing stable of great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and integrity.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 11, at St. Benedict Catholic Church (11045 Parson's Road, John's Creek, GA). Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, reflect, and honor a life lived with purpose and heart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Patrick's memory to either Catholic Charities (www.catholiccharitiesusa.org) or UboraTZ (ww.uboratz.org).
