Patrick Hart Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Olmstead Funeral Home - Heber Springs on Jan. 1, 2026.
Patrick "Pat" Hart Sr., born on June 29, 1947, passed peacefully in his home on December 29, 2025, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 78. A longtime resident of Heber Springs, Pat loved to travel and lived in many places during his lifetime, including Chicago, IL; Las Vegas, NV; and even Anchorage, AK, where he was a member of the Plumber and Steamfitters Local Union 367.
A genuine jack of all trades, Pat possessed infinite knowledge, a passion for classic cars, and a talent for fixing just about anything with a paperclip. Pat was "old school," a true man of his word who lived his life with honesty and integrity. Having never met a stranger, Pat was a friend to many and treated everyone around him with fairness and respect. Pat's kindness was limitless, his heart boundless, and his love for his family and friends simply immeasurable. He was truly one of a kind.
Pat was the son of the late Mary Frances Keating and a dear brother to the late Robert (Priscilla) Hart and Ron Hart. He was the beloved husband of Pam Hart for 52 years; the loving father of Patrick Hart Jr. (Brittany); a proud "Papa" to his dear grandson, Tucker Jameson Hart; and a cherished brother to Arzelle (Melvin) Bormet, Suzanne Ledwell, Richard Lowell, Ray (Bernie) Lowell, Carol (Bill) Robinson, Maureen (Steve) Grill, Christine (Bruce) Lowell, and Mike Lowell. Pat had countless nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends, and he loved them all dearly.
We would like to thank Arkansas Hospice (Conway) for their excellent care in Pat's final days; Adoration Home Health (Mountain View); DaVita Kidney Care and Dr. Camferdam (Searcy); Dr. Frank Bivens (Heber Springs); Dr. Thomas Sneed (CARTI); and Dr. Matthew Steliga (UAMS) for caring for Pat over the years.
A Celebration of Life to honor Pat will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., and the Eulogy to be given by Boyd Anderson at approximately 11:30 a.m., at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs, AR. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Pat's friends and loved ones please share their favorite memories of him. Anyone who knew Pat knows he was an avid storyteller, and we can't think of a more fitting way to honor his legacy. Whether heartfelt, hilarious, or wildly adventurous, please send your most memorable stories of Pat to [email protected]. Alternatively, memorial donations may be made in his honor to a charity of your choosing.

Pat was one of the guys you thought would be around forever. I have known him since I was 12-13 years old. Went to school with his brothers. He was the guy who you looked up to because he was as KQQL as a cucumber. As said he was into classic cars. Now they are classic then they were just cars with rust or had a lot of miles. 70 thousand miles on a car back then was a car ready for the junk yard. He had worked, owned and sold many a car and truck. As I said he was always KQQL. I guess you could say, he and only a few more guys in Orland Park were Legends. He was one of them! We will miss him and so glad to have known him. Bye Ol Friend. sincerely, Mike and Colleen Perry along with a good friend, Ted Battles, another Legend.
