A Celebration of Life service for Patrick Joe Healy will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Crosspoint Church, Enid, OK, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Garvie Schmidt and Reverend Asher Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pat was born on January 16, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas to Joe and LaVaughn Healy and died peacefully at his home on September 15th, 2025, surrounded by his family. He graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo in 1966 and went on to attend and graduate from the University of Oklahoma in 1970 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation from OU, he voluntarily enlisted in the Air Force Air National Guard and proudly served his country for the following 6 years. Throughout that time, he received various accolades. Pat has remained a true patriot and proud veteran throughout his lifetime and earned the Legacy Lifetime Veterans Achievement Award in 2015. He proudly flew the American flag in his yard and from the deck at his family's cabin in Northern New Mexico.

Upon receiving his honorable discharge from the military, Pat went to work for Southwestern Bell and worked one year in Tulsa before being transferred to Enid where he soon decided to start a new career path. Pat knew he did not want a regular office job, rather one that allowed him the opportunity to interact with the outside world and serve others. Pat purchased a small paint store in downtown Enid that has become a 5 decade family business. Over the years, that paint store has evolved. First, into a home decorating store, then into a commercial stone fabrication business that sent Pat all over the country and to Europe. For his final years, he transitioned into the residential side of natural stone, that is now owned and operated by his son.

In 1977, Pat married Sheila Henderson, and to this union, 2 children were born, Trish and Tim. Pat was a proud father who always enjoyed being involved. He guided them through life lessons that have carried into their adulthood. He taught strength and endurance when faced with adversity. He displayed the power of being patient. Above all, he guided and directed them to love the Lord.

Pat has been a member of Enid Mennonite Brethren, now known as Crosspoint Church, for nearly 50 years where he faithfully served in various capacities. His main love was for the youth, teaching Sunday School and serving as youth sponsors. He and Sheila cherished the opportunity to be involved in their lives.

Pat was a servant to others and always loved to help in any capacity. He touched so many lives, it would be difficult to name them all. He was active in Youth for Christ, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Sunday School, Band Dad, Little League, PTA, Our Daily Bread, and Loaves and Fishes, along with many others. As his Parkinson's progressed, he never wanted to quit helping, but he volunteered when and wherever he could.

Other than serving, he enjoyed many activities such as fishing, snow skiing, OU football, spending time with his dog, reading, teaching, working (especially with his son), and always wanted to be in the mountains at the family cabin he and his parents built in the 1960s. He always worked hard and dreamed bigger.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila, his daughter, Trish of Oklahoma City, his son, Tim and wife Deanna, of Enid, his 2 granddaughters, Vivian and Emelynn, who were the light of his life, his sister-in-law, Vicki Jeffery, of Enid, his nephew, Matt Jeffery and wife, Sara, and their son, Nolan, of Stillwater, and numerous cousins.

Memorials may be made to Barrow Neurological Foundation with funds designated to Parkinson's Research or Crosspoint Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
