Patrick Honohan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. - Allentown on Nov. 24, 2025.
Patrick W. Honohan, 61, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, November 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Lourdes J. "Lori" Honohan. Born in Rockville Centre, New York, and raised in Massapequa, Patrick "Pat" was the son of the late Robert T. Honohan and Janet A. (Wade) Farro.

Known for his warm personality, quick wit, and love of travel, Pat brought humor and light to everyone around him. A loyal New York Giants fan, he treasured time spent sharing stories and laughter with family and friends. While he worked in various roles throughout his life, Pat was best known as a true people person who had a gift for making others feel welcome and at ease. He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Allentown and served with the Knights of Columbus, Council #4397.

Family was at the center of Pat's life, and being "Grandpa" was a role he held with deep pride and affection.

Pat is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his daughters, Kimberly M. Rusbridge (Hamish) of New Zealand, Samantha T. McKeown (James) of Breinigsville, and Melissa H. Honohan (Brandon Lochard) of Whitehall; his brother, Robert P. Honohan (Bernadine) of Southbridge; his stepmother, Eileen J. Honohan; and his grandchildren, Quinn, Jack, and Delilah. He was also eagerly awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter. Pat was predeceased by his parents and his stepfather, Joseph C. Farro.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown with the Rev. Philip J. Maas as Celebrant. Family and friends may pay their respects 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday in the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. The Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmanstephens.com.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Pat's brave cancer journey.
