Patrick Linn Kill

Patrick Linn Kill of Shalimar FL, age 62 passed away on April 29th, 2024. He was born in Lansing, MI to Richard and Doris Kill on July 28th, 1961. After being raised in Lansing Patrick enlisted in the United States Air Force on October 4th, 1983, at the age of 21 which allowed him to travel all around the world several times as an added benefit to serving his country. Patrick settled at Eglin Air Force Base in 2002. He retired a year later on December 31 with several distinguished honors and after an opportunity to meet former president George W. Bush Sr.
In July of 2018, Patrick married Lisa at Eglin Air Force Base who soon after moved to Sicily Italy for three years; Italy has remained a favorite destination for the two of them. The two were set to move back to Aviano Italy in August of this year for his job as a fuel quality inspector for the Air Force as a civilian. In addition to love of Italy, and Portugal, Patrick loved the Detroit Lions more and made time to watch the games with his friends. He loved all sports (especially football, baseball, and basketball) but had a soft spot for Golf, which he played when he wasn't working. Other recreations he enjoyed were traveling and spending time with his loving wife.
Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Richard. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; her sons Gaston & Will Ward with their 6 children between the two of them; His best friends Det Mitchell and Scott (Shari) Seling; Mother-in-Law Diane Tunnage; Sister-in-law Marisa (Rowdy) Warr and Christy (Jason) Vines; Brother-in-law Curtis (Marita) Tunnage and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at Emerald Coast Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 7th at 2 pm with the family receiving visitors an hour before service. Internment at Barrancas National Cemetery will take place Wednesday, May 8th at 11 am with family and friends gathering at Olive Baptist Church (Warrington campus) 103 W Winthrop Ave Pensacola FL, 32547 before 10:30 am for a processional to the cemetery committal shelter.
