PATRICK KLOHE Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home - Piqua on Aug. 6, 2025.
Patrick A. Klohe, 76, of Fletcher, passed away peacefully at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025 in the comfort of his home. He was born April 14, 1949 in Piqua to the late Louis O. and Doris M. (Clevenger) Klohe. He married Kathleen S. Shepherd June 17, 1967 in Piqua; and she survives.

Other survivors include a son, Matthew J. (Kimberly S.) Klohe of Navarre, Florida; a daughter, Jennifer L. Seeling of Piqua; five grandchildren, Pacer (Desiree) Cooley, Brock Klohe, Peggy Cooley, Crystal Cooley, Abigail Klohe; ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Susanne Pummill of Piqua. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Klohe; and a sister, Connie Coppock.

Mr. Klohe was a 1967 graduate of Piqua Central High School. He attended Technical College with General Telephone where he earned his certificates. He went on to work for General Telephone for over 30 years, and retired as the Chief Technician. He was a longtime member of the Salvation Army Church. Pat was very much an outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, mushroom hunting, and bird watching. He was also very good with his hands and enjoyed working as a handyman and later as a contractor with his son. He enjoyed staying active and was very giving of himself and his time. He was known in his neighborhood as a guy to call when you needed things done from basic home repairs, to plowing snow. He never accepted money for his efforts, but he would accept a pie. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, the best grandfather, and a great friend.

A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter, 1110 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373; or The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 615 Piqua, OH 45356. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com
