Patrick Edgar Lasseigne, 72, of Pleasant Valley, LA made his final voyage peacefully on January 3, 2026. Born on March 14, 1953, in Lutcher, LA, and raised in Green Bay, WI, Patrick would come to embody a unique blend of Southern Louisiana charm with Midwest American spirit. After graduating Green Bay West High School, he would serve faithfully in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 20 years. After retiring, he became a Master Gardener and pursued his passions for gardening, hunting and fishing, and cherishing time with his grandchildren and friends in his church community.
Seeing Patrick off this mortal shore are his wife, Evelyn, and children, Gabe (Christine), Patricia, Dylan (Regan), and Rachel (Mark), along with his grandchildren: Isabella, Malachi, Aria, Sophie, Delilah, Lilly, Liam, and Leo. He is survived by his sisters, Marie, Marlyn, and Robin. His spirit sails to a bright hereafter, where he is awaited by his father, Edgar, his mother, Gertie, and his sister, Judith. He will forever be remembered for his steadfast love of his family, his warm laughter and profound wisdom, and his deep bond of nature, the sea, and his One True Love, with whom he shared in 42 fulfilling years of marriage.
Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Vally United Methodist Church on January 24th at 12:00 Noon for a celebration of life service.
