Born: May 9, 1943 in Rockford, IL
Died: August 10, 2025 in Pingree Grove, IL
Patrick R. Lathrop, 82, of Pingree Grove, passed away August 10th, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 9, 1943, in Rockford, IL, the son of Vincent and Catherine (Lathrop).
Patrick was a class of 62' Elgin Graduate. Following Highschool he became a Carpenter and worked in the Elgin area for nearly 40 years. Patrick was a Chicago White Sox Fan and a beloved father. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his Children, Timothy Lathrop, Thomas (Theresa) Lathrop, Patrick Lathrop, Phillip Lathrop, Kelly (ED) Essem; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Catherine Lathrop; wife, Anna; brother, Michael Lathrop; and sister, Colleen Lathrop.
Graveside services are private and will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Elgin. The Fredrick Funeral Home in Hampshire is assisting the family. Please call (847)683-2711 or visit www.fredrickfuneralhome.com
