Patrick C. Lucey, age 33, passed away on September 2, 2025, surrounded by family and love.
Patrick (“Pat”/”Luce”) was born in Wakefield on November 13, 1991. He was predeceased by his father Patrick Lucey and survived by his mother, Ranie Melanson, sister Jessica Lucey grandparents Donna and Roger Melanson, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and incredible mass of friends. (Counsel of Fellas included). To say he was loved, is an understatement.
Patrick grew up in Methuen MA, declared his “best friendship” with Jimmy O’Keefe in kindergarten and maintained that brotherhood throughout his life. He loved sports and played hockey and baseball. He was not a fan of the water, following an experience with a rip tide in his teens. He developed a love for fish while working at New England Seafood in Methuen and tried and appreciated sushi later in life.
Patrick was a Boston sports enthusiast and happy to debate anyone on any subject of sports. He loved the fall and football season and was always eager to get the fantasy draft on the calendar.
Patrick worked at Fitzgerald Tile in North Reading and treasured the lasting friendships he made with the team.
Patrick was genuine and kind, anyone would be hard pressed to find a more loyal friend, son, nephew, cousin, grandchild or brother. He loved long phone conversations, and you would always be greeted with “hello, hello” and a smile.
A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St, Wakefield on Wednesday, September 10th at 11:00AM followed by a celebration of life at the Bellino’s Trattoria in Wakefield for friends and family.
