MANNION, Patrick A. With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of Patrick, born February 5th, 1972, age 50, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, and Galway, Ireland. Patrick passed away suddenly on January 13, 2023. Beloved husband to Lynne, devoted father to Martin, Alexis, Meghan, and James. Brother to Coleman and his partner Jackie, and brother-in-law to Marc and his wife, Agnes. Son to Noreen and the late Coleman "Jerry" Mannion, son-in-law to Frances Rennie, and uncle to Sophie and Emma Rennie. Loving Godfather to Kelsey Folan and Ella Burke. Patrick was known for his kind and gentle nature and ability to make everyone smile and feel special. He had a generous spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. All who knew him will greatly miss his warm smile and infectious laughter. Patrick loved life, loved hockey, and was a proud member of Local 4. Family and friends will honor and remember Patrick by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mark Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, on Saturday morning, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Patrick will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Patrick. You will be forever in our hearts.
