Patrick McDonald Obituary
Pat was born on February 6, 1951, in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Douglas W. and Violet V. Peacemaker McDonald. Pat was an outdoorsman that liked going on long walks, hiking up mountains, going mushroom hunting, and digging up sassafras roots. He enjoyed welding and working on different types of equipment.
Surviving is a daughter: Brooke McDonald; siblings: Sandra Smith (Clemmitt), Cathy Hofsiss (Larry), Donna Lynch (Dan), Tim McDonald (Rhonda); a special nephew: William "Allen" Dunlap; a grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held later this spring.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Pat to the Hampshire Center, 260 Sunrise Blvd, Romney, WV 26757 or Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Ln, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
A special thanks to the nurses, staff, and volunteers at the Hampshire Center for taking good care of Pat.
