Patrick R. McKeen, 77, of Erie, passed away Saturday February 22, 2025. He was born in Erie on March 21, 1947 a son of the late Ralph E. McKeen and Lois Schau McKeen.
Patrick graduated from Strong Vincent High School and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post 470 where he served in the Honor Guard and also enjoyed spending time at the Family Affair Campground.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Margaret Czulewicz McKeen; three brothers, Charles and Wilbert McKeen and John Theis; and two sisters, Marlene Smithers and Margaret Hammer.
Survivors include three daughters, Arlene Coffey (Patrick) of Chicago, Mary Parker (Jerry) of Corry, and Kari Dye (Matt) of Sophia, NC; one son, Dr. Daniel Kinem (Debra) of Fairview; seven grandchildren, Joey, Jerry, Danny, Doug, Lori, Melanie, and Mattlyn; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
