Patrick "Packy" Linzy Muldrew, a cherished husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on January 7, 2026, in
Wheeling, West Virginia. Born on February 24, 1979, Patrick was 46 years old at the time of his passing.
Patrick was born to the late Patrick Jr. and Ella Mae Muldrew and raised in a family that instilled in him a strong work ethic and deep love for his family and friends. He followed in their footsteps with unwavering dedication and compassion throughout his life. He worked as a Safety Manager for Approved Site Services where he committed himself to ensuring the well-being of others, taking pride in his work and the safety of those around him. His colleagues will remember him not only for his hard work but also for his unwavering kindness and camaraderie.
His heart was rooted in his family, whom he loved dearly and would do anything for. He shared a special bond with his wife, Hayley Muldrew, along with their beloved children, Noah and Ellie. Patrick took immense joy in golfing with his father-in-law, Jeff, and spent countless hours cheering on the Steelers and WVU, his favorite teams. His laughter was a beacon of joy to all who knew him, as he had a remarkable ability to lift spirits with his infectious laugh and warm, generous heart. He had an undeniable love for Jordan shoes-His affinity for those iconic kicks was almost as big as his personality, promising a style that, in the words of Sneakerheads everywhere, was going to be legendary.
Patrick will always be remembered by his surviving family: his devoted wife, Hayley; his cherished children, Noah and Ellie; his in-laws, Kim and Jeff Prisner; his loving sisters, Lori (John) Cunningham, Marcie (Brian) Rice, Patricia (Raymond) Robinson, and Pamela (Neal) Johnson along with his sister-in-law, Ashley (Drew) MacBeth. He leaves behind treasured nieces and nephews-Matthew Cunningham, Lyndsay Clark, Leighana Cunningham, Eric Rice, Josh Rice, Taylor Chlon, Dallas Chlon, Todd Muldrew, Evan MacBeth, Scarlett MacBeth and Meghan Johnson-along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who will fondly remember their Uncle Packy. His best friends, Mike Brandon, Chris Freeman, and Thad Vavrok, will forever hold his memory close, treasuring the times they shared together.
Preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Jr. and Ella Mae Muldrew, maternal grandparents Benjamin and Kathleen Fogle, and paternal grandmother Maxine Muldrew, Patrick now joins them in eternal rest.
Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time. In lieu of traditional remembrances, contributions may be made by clicking here, which will support a scholarship fund for his children, Noah and Ellie. Patrick's legacy lives on through his family and their unwavering love for one another. A celebration of Packy's life will be held at a later date, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance of his life and legacy.
