Patrick Richard Naples unexpectedly passed away January 10, 2026, at the young age of 41 in his hometown of Midland, Michigan. Patrick was a kindhearted, very humorous, and spirited man who brought so much joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Born in Midland on October 3, 1984, Patrick graduated from Windover Highschool in 2003. He was a simple man with a huge heart. You could find him in his happy place of cooking, woodwork, cars, anything nature related or spending time with his nieces and nephew. He reveled in the simplicity and beauty of nature, whether it was a trip down the river, mushroom hunting or the warmth of a campfire under the stars.
His need for speed was something he had since he was a young boy. It carried on through his life with the many cars he owned and the need to “tinker”. That flowed into his woodwork where he could make anything neat out of sticks and stones. His nieces and nephew were the light of his eye, and he was a big kid at heart which made play SO much fun.
Patrick’s legacy is continued through all his family! He survived by his mother, Sherry Hodge, stepfather Arthur Hodge; sister Amy Woodcock, Brother-in-Law, Eric Woodcock along with stepbrother, Justin Hodge; nieces and nephew, Mia, Cohen and Bexlee. Patrick has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace Patrick. May your spirit soar freely and watch over us here.
Patrick’s Celebration of Life service will be at Wilson Miller Funeral Home (4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640) on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm with visitation starting at 11:00 am.
