Patrick R. Oyler, 48, of Carlisle, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Born in Carlisle, he was the son of Kenneth C. Oyler and the late Cheri (Carns) Oyler
Patrick loved to eat pizza. In his younger days, he could consume one all by himself. He also enjoyed watching movies on DVD. He probably has 1,200 DVD’s at home.
He was also an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. Patrick loved going to the Shore, especially Ocean City, MD and loved his former dog, Attila.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Kate and by his step-father, Gerry Potter as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Prayer Service 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patrick’s name may be made to: United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA, 55 Utley Drive, Camp Hill PA 17011.
