Patrick Pancoast Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 17, 2025.
Dr. Patrick Michael Pancoast, 59, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, passed away peacefully in September 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Patrick was born in 1965 to Helen and Donald Pancoast and grew up in Idaho. He graduated from Walla Walla College with degrees in Music and Chemistry before earning his medical degree at Loma Linda University. While medicine became his profession, music remained his lifelong passion.

He joined the United States Air Force during medical school and trained as an anesthesiologist, serving with distinction at Mather AFB and later at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. In 1991, he married his medical school sweetheart, Jennifer Lindgren, in Sacramento, California. After retiring from the Air Force, Patrick joined the Oregon Anesthesia Group in Portland, where he practiced for 22 years as a partner.

Patrick and Jennifer raised three children-Connor, Lance, and Lu (formerly Luke)-and together enjoyed outdoor activities, family adventures, and travel across the United States and abroad. Patrick was also a devoted son, caring for his parents as they aged and managing their estate with diligence and love.

He is survived by his children, Lance and Lu; his former wife, Jennifer; and his siblings and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Donald, his brother Peter, and his son Connor.

Patrick will be remembered for his dedication to family, his professional excellence, his adventurous spirit, and his love of music.
