Patrick, lovingly known as "Peepaw" by his family, passed away surrounded by love on January 18th 2025. A man of great character, Patrick left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Patrick was born on October 13, 1949 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was fiercely loyal and deeply caring to those lucky enough to earn his affection. Though he could be a bit prickly at times, his love was steadfast and unwavering. He had a way of showing up for people in ways that mattered most, always ready to lend a hand, share his wisdom, or simply be there when it counted.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Patrick spent his working years immersed in the world of aircraft, a career that reflected his precision and work ethic. He brought those same qualities to his personal life, often working in his shop, taking on new projects, and finding joy in fixing things.
In his free time, Patrick loved the outdoors, whether skiing down snowy slopes, fishing out on the water, or hunting in the stillness of the woods. He was also a man who knew the value of simple pleasures: a cold beer, meatloaf, an evening watching M*A*S*H or The Andy Griffith Show, and long conversations with family and friends-even if he wouldn't admit it easily.
Patrick's neighbors and community were especially important to him. He took pride in lending a helping hand and being a reliable presence for those around him. He believed in looking out for his own. His love for life, his family, and his friends will continue to inspire all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Patrocky; son-in-law, David Patrocky; grandchildren, Elizabeth Santini, Nickalaus Patrocky and Brooklyn Patrocky; and his great-grandchildren, Brayden Santini and Zayne Santini.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marianne Paschal (1991) and his beloved wife, Marion Bertrand Paschal (2001); parents, Ernest and Josephine Paschal; and his brother, Ernie.
