Patrick Patterson

Patrick Wayne Patterson age 50 of Lafayette, LA, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Oschner Lafayette Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.   Patrick was born October 31, 1972, to Dr. Michael Ray Patterson and Eleanor Thomas Patterson in Cleveland, MS.  He attended Cleveland Schools and Mississippi Delta Community College and was licensed as a massage therapist in the State of Mississippi. Patrick enjoyed riding motorcycles, kickboxing, running, and doing mechanic work on motorcycles and cars. He was an artist and loved to draw, and listen to music. He also enjoyed being on the water and worked in commercial crabbing for a while. He was also involved in construction during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the Slidell, LA area.
    He was preceded in death by his brother Brian "Scooby" Trechel Patterson.   Patrick is survived by his daughters; Whitney Patterson of New Orleans, LA, Skye Sinquefield (Alex) of Madison, MS, and Penelope Patterson of Cleveland, MS, father, Dr. Michael Patterson (June) of Boyle, Ms, mother Ellie Jones (Bernnie) of Cleveland, MS, brother M. Scott Patterson (Sheila) of D'Iberville, MS, sister, Monica P. Dixon (Ralph) of Bossier City, LA, sister-in-law Patty Patterson Soliz 0f Carrollton, GA, grandchildren; Jackson "Arlo" Sinquefield, and "Luah" Jean Sinquefiled, fiance' Dawn LeBourgeois of Lafayette, LA. He also leaves numerous nieces nephews and great-nieces and nephews to cherish his memory. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. A memorial service will follow in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM. Dr. Tommy Taylor will officiate the service. A private family burial will follow in the Delta Heights Memorial Garden.
