Patrick Sacco Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 19, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Patrick James Sacco, age 66, on August 15, 2025. Born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, Patrick was the beloved son of the late Angelo R. "Sonny" Sacco and Elizabeth M. (Freda) Sacco. He is survived by his brother Anthony J. Sacco and his wife Karen (Rose) Sacco, his sisters Karen E. Sacco and her fiancé Randall A. Rodericks Sr., and Elizabeth A. "Lisa" Sacco. Patrick's spirit will live on in the hearts of his nieces and nephews: Jennifer Amari, Anthony TJ Sacco, Crystal Sorabella and her husband Pasquale "Lino" Sorabella, Dannielle Mercuri and her partner Emily Carrasquillo. He was also a proud great-uncle to Anthony Amari, Gianna Amari, Joseph Amari, and Aria Mercuri. Patrick was a man of many passions. A lifelong lover of music, he found great joy in playing the saxophone and flute. He was an avid motorcyclist, a talented photographer with a deep appreciation for nature and animals, and a skilled craftsman in ceramic tile-an art he learned from his grandfather Antonio Sacco and his father Sonny. To know Patrick was to know someone who found beauty in the world around him and who shared it freely through his music, his lens, and his laughter. Though funeral services will be private, Patrick's memory will continue to live on in the love he gave, the stories he shared, and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
