Patrick Joseph Wayne Schaefer
July 26, 1984 - February 10, 2026
Patrick "Pat" Schaefer, 41, passed away in his home in
Clark, Missouri on February 10, 2026. Pat was born on July 26, 1984 to Russell "Rusty" Schaefer and Rhonda Tipton. He is survived by his brother Joshua Schaefer.
Pat was a walking miracle, outliving all medical providers expectations with his Hemophilia B and Factor 9 Deficiency. Known to his family as "Boo Boo" because growing up he was always wearing a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads while playing to prevent any potential injuries that would cause a bleed. Though he spent much of his life in and out of hospitals, Patrick never let his disabilities stop him from living life to the fullest all the way to his last days.
Pat was always finding the positive in everything he was handed throughout his life. Patrick was loved by so many people for his beautiful heart and he had the most beautiful soul anyone would have had the honor to cross paths with.
He had amazing loving caregivers who as Pat said "saved my life more than once" always fighting the medical world making sure he always had the best medical care anyone could get that assisted in his long (yet cut way to short) life for someone with the severity of Hemophilia B and Factory 9 Deficiency.
Patrick loved his cats, especially his beloved Gabriel who was always by Pat's side for the last 17 years until his passing last year. Patrick loved being outside, enjoying all the beauty around him and taking pictures as often as he could of nature. He would often sit at his special spot on the farm and watch the deer out in the field with Gabriel at his side. Pat liked to collect swords and scare all of his family, welding the giant knives around like a samurai. He was an avid collector of crystals and rocks, and would love to tell you all about them if you asked. Pat enjoyed drawing, and was an amazing artist.
Many knew him as CrimsonLuck in the gaming and rock community, where he found friends and chosen family from around the world who will also miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an aunt.
He shared a love of a movie with his cousin who shared his favorite quotes from The Crow -
"If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them."
"Little things used to mean soo much…….I used to think they were trivial…..believe me nothing is trivial"
A Celebration of Patrick's life will be held at a later date when his family is able to fulfill his wishes to be outside with his mom, dad and beloved cat Gabriel.
