Smith, Patrick Joseph "Pat" 90, of Somers NY, formerly of Scarsdale NY,died Friday April 21,2023 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Pat was born on October 23,1932 in Cootehill Co.Cavan Ireland. He immigrated to New York in 1958. He is the son of Hugh and Margaret Smith (née McTague).
Pat is the beloved husband of Rita (née Carmody) and is the loving father of Margaret (Jim), Hughie (Andrea), Patricia (Johnny) and Jimmy. He is the loving grandfather of Jimmy, Sean, Bryan, Kelsey, Caroline, Colin, Sara, Johnny and Patrick. Pat is the brother of Agnes, Peggy, Josie, Eileen, Marie, Claire, Annamai, Olive, Mona, Hugh, Michael, John Joe and several nieces and nephews.
Pat worked for Scarsdale Improvement Inc. for 40 years and was a member and past president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 17 White Plains NY.
Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd, Katonah NY 10536 on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 4-8pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers NY on Tuesday, April 25th at 10am. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave, White Plains NY 10603.
