December 5, 1943 - August 9, 2021
El Paso, Texas - Patrick Joseph Waggaman, better known as PJ or Pop, age 77, born on December 5, 1943, in St. Louis (Richmond Heights), MO, to Raymond Waggaman and Moneta Costello, passed away on August 9, 2021, in El Paso Texas.
Patrick grew up in East St. Louis, IL and was raised by loving parents in a large family with three brothers. Patrick graduated from Southern Illinois University. He married June Osborn on August 7, 1970. Patrick was a man of many talents, ambitions, and goals. He lived a great life accomplishing so much, including raising a family. He flourished in a range of careers - cook, real estate, paralegal, and advertising sales. Upon retirement, he pursued his true passion, as an artist/actor, in music, film and theater. He became well known for his acting in "Rapping for Jesus," as well as in many other roles and one-man plays in local theatre. Patrick was vice president of the Lions Club, and continually devoted time and money to various charities. He was most recently recognized by local officials for his support of Blue Lives Matter.
Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna; his father, Raymond; his mother, Moneta; his brothers, Robert and Thomas Waggaman; and his nephew, Andrew.
Patrick is survived by his wife, June; his granddaughter, Candace; his son-in-law, Wayne; his grandchildren, Brenden, Amber, Corey, and Seth; and his brother, Ray and his sister-in-law, Joan. Patrick is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children, and his best friends, Hugh and Juanita Riddle.
Patrick was an inspiration and touched many lives; he was a blessing. He was loved and will be missed by us all.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Burial of cremated remains will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery Belleville, IL.
