May the Lord bless and keep you may his face shine upon you and give you peace. We are so sorry for your loss! Dr. Whitlow was an awesome Doc and we so appreciate all the time he spent at the Cleveland Clinic helping his patients. Rob became his patient in 2002 after surviving cancer as a kid and ending up with radiation heart disease. Dr. Whitlow did interventions until 2008 when we moved on to heart failure/transplant team but we liked to check back with him from time to time just to see him. Rob has gotten to live and help raise our 3 kids which is priceless just as he was.

Pat Whitlow was more than just a classmate of mine at WF Dykes HS. He was President of our senior class (1968) and such a nice person and friend to all. It seems he accomplished so much in his lifetime and career and I am saddened to hear the news of his passing.

Pat was a colleague, a good doctor, and a really nice guy. I admire his guts in working hard with failing health. Everyone liked him and respected his judgement and technical skill. I mourn his passing. My wife and I have made a donation to the Kidney

To my Hero. A man who has kept me alive for 15 years!! I am so sorry that I couldn't comfort him the way he did me! He fixed my heart with numerous interventions and never revealed how sick he really was. He was instrumental in his diagnosis to confirm the chemicals that I was exposed to were truly valid. I am a Viet Nam veteran who was exposed to the dioxide in the chemicals which resulted in my coronary artery shutdown! I had offered him my kidney when he needed it. I felt that with everything he did for me the least I could do was offer him my kidney. Of course he refused. He kept me going and I wanted to keep him going with his knowledge, compassion and love for what he was doing despite his own health issues. My love to him and his family for keeping me alive today! Patrick you truly are my brother and hero who I will miss and think of often! Will see you soon my brother in arms who was not in my war but joined it to make me live. No goodbyes just see you soon!! Rip Joe Stolarski. Hope the studies I participated with you will continue you're legacy. You truly were 1 in a trillion!!!!!
