Patsy Ann Brisson Brown, age 88, of Dublin, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, at The Carrolton of Lumberton, North Carolina. Born on September 21, 1936, in Bladen County, she graced this world with her warmth and kindness for nearly nine decades.
Patsy was known for her loving spirit, and she nurtured her family with unwavering devotion. She was a cherished mother to her three children: Vicki Baker, Lloyd Tatum, Jr., and Penny Kleinschmidt. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love and compassion, enriched by the laughter and joy shared with Patsy throughout the years. She also embraced her role as a grandmother with pride, leaving behind six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers, Graham Brisson and Mickey Brisson, Patsy finds peace in knowing her family will continue to honor her memory. She held dear her beloved siblings and often reminisced about the laughter and mischief they shared during their childhood.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Essie Brisson, her son, Jack Brown, her dear siblings, Harvey Brisson and Pearline Brisson. They await her in eternal rest, greeted by the same love that would transpire within their family circle.
Those fortunate enough to have called Patsy a friend knew her as a source of joy and strength. She created bonds that transcended generations, collecting a whole host of extended friends and family who admired her generosity and spirited nature.
A graveside service to celebrate and honor the life of Patsy Ann Brisson Brown will be held on February 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Allen Cemetery, located on Bethel Church Rd in Dublin, NC. All who loved her are invited to join in remembering a woman whose legacy of love and kindness will never fade.
As we say goodbye, let us carry forward the lessons she taught with her life: to love fiercely, to cherish family, and to embrace every moment. Patsy's light will forever shine in our hearts.
